Signing up takes just a few minutes. Once enrolled, your child will receive a free, age-appropriate book in the mail every month until their fifth birthday. There is no cost — now or ever.

Register through the national Imagination Library website. You’ll need your child’s name, birthday and your mailing address.

Q: My child is already 3. Is it too late to enroll?
Not at all. Any child under 5 who lives in Lowndes County can enroll at any time. They’ll receive books every month from the time they enroll until their fifth birthday.
Q: We just moved to Lowndes County. Can we sign up?
Yes — residency in Lowndes County is the only requirement. Welcome!
Q: Is there really no cost?
None. The program is entirely free to families because of the generosity of local donors and grant supporters. Interested in helping?
Q: What if I need to update my address?
Contact us and we’ll get it updated right away.
Q: Can younger siblings enroll?
Absolutely. Each child in your family under age 5 can have their own enrollment.
Q: I’m moving. Can I transfer my enrollment to a new address?
If you are moving within Lowndes County, contact us to update your address. If you are moving outside Lowndes County, use the national website to see if there’s an Imagination Library program at your new address.
